It is a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Don’t tell but the cake is actually a Duncan Hines mix that I bought at the grocery store. When things are that delicious they shouldn’t be messed with. However, I did make the frosting.
Cream Cheese Frosting
2 8oz blocks of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups powdered sugar
Cream together cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy. Mix in vanilla and slowly add powdered sugar until blended. Store any left over frosting in the fridge. It tastes great sandwiched between 2 graham crackers!
